Overview
Padmabhushan Dr. Balashaheb Vikhe Patil English Medium School , has NCERT syllabus from std I to std VII and follows book prescribed by them. We believe that love for education should be developed for children in their initial years and conditions should be created for them to pursue a positive approach in life.
New methods of teaching are being implemented where by projects and activities help the students in understanding the curriculum. Learning by doing is encouraged.
Curriculum
As per the requirement of CBSE we are having NCERT syllabus in the Secondary and Higher Secondary sections.
Daily Routine
The School starts with the morning assembly beginning at 9: 00 am It follows a timetable of 8 periods of 30 min duration with a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
The first period starts at 9: 00 a.m. and gets over at 2: 30 .p.m.
Co-Curricular Program
Pravara Central Public School follows learning by doing. Projects and activities are therefore planned in such a way that students learn by using different life skills. Indoor and outdoor activities are encouraged for personality development of the child. Students participate in elocution, debate etc. Street plays, Rallies Village Skits are our forte.

Cooperative Learning
- It develops intellectual autonomy in young adolescents to interact in Heterogeneous groups to support the learning of self and others in the same group.
Student centered learning
- It facilitates students engaging during class, by designing hands on activities that help students construct their own meaning of the new concept taught in class. Here students socially interact with their teachers and peers through discussions.

- To meet five basic needs – survival, belonging, power, freedom and fun.

Report on Faculty Development Programme
Faculty Development Program (FDP) was organized by PADMABHUSHAN DR. BALASAHEB VIKHE PATIL ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, CHINCHOLI, SINNAR, NASHIK. The FDP was organized for Three days Dates: 24/08/2024, 14/09/2024, 28/09/2024 under CBSE School engagement program About 25 faculty members are actively participated and gained useful information from all the sessions.
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was organized as part of the CBSE School Engagement Program to provide valuable insights and training to faculty members. The FDP was inaugurated by Mr. Rahul Sontakke (TPO), Principal Dr. Sunita Bari, and Mr. Prashant Dhiware (Academic Coordinator) at 10:00 A.M. on 24th August 2024.
Aims and Objectives
- Improving teaching skills and familiarizing faculty with teaching strategies and resources.
- Learning about new technologies in relevant fields.
- Preparing faculty for the New Education Policy 2020, which emphasizes learner-based education.
- Understanding the role of faculty in higher education institutions.
- Developing leadership qualities and becoming effective counselors to students.
- Using ICT in teaching and preparing digital content.
- Developing e-content and delivering quality educational materials.
- Understanding the role of research alongside academic activities.
Day 1 - 24/08/2024
The first day's session began at 10:00 A.M., inaugurated by Mr. Rahul Sontakke, Principal Dr. Sunita Bari, and Mr. Prashant Dhiware. Mr. Rahul Sontakke opened the session with an inspiring speech. The main speaker then commenced a session on 'Developing Teaching Skills and Techniques', using PowerPoint presentations to explain key concepts.
Various interactive activities were conducted for the teachers during the session, making it engaging and informative. The session concluded with a vote of thanks.

The second session was started at sharp 10:00 A.M. the speaker started session on demonstrate Life Skills through cooperative games and to develop unity among the Teachers. She used the PPT to deliver the lecture. The session ended at 1:00 P.M. The last question and answers session was conducted.

She delivered the lecture with various activities and games, The teachers were given chance to participate in the activities. The teachers were given chance to speak out about their personality and weaknesses. The doubts session were conducted in the form of question and answers.
