About Us

Pravara Kanya Vidya Mandir and Junior College was established in 1969 with just 5 teachers and 100 girl students. At a time when people regarded women’s education unnecessary, Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil successfully operated a residential girl’s school! In 2018-19, 77 of our teachers educate 2660 students from 1st to 12th standard.

Digital classrooms with a student-centric teaching-learning process inspire students to higher achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Plus, our daily routine for boarders is designed for their all-round development. Not for nothing are we an ISO 9001:2008 institution with NABET accreditation.

Over the years, heavyweight personalities from all spheres have paid rich tributes to the groundbreaking approach of our school and our students have, similarly, made their mark in all spheres of life.

Around 10 of our students get admissions directly to Second Year in Government Diploma Institutions (Polytechnics) every year. We also offer free, skill-based courses under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).
