About Us

Sindhutai Vikhe Patil College of Agriculture, Mohu-chincholi, stared in the year 2024-25 and is offering a four years undergraduate degree programmer, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture. The College is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri and approved by Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research, Pune. The prime objective of the course is to develop skilled manpower for the growing Agriculture Industry and for economic development of farmers.

Within a short span, up to the academic year 2025–26, the institution has achieved noteworthy development. The college has now 08 teaching faculties and 02 non-teaching faculties. The campus now comprises a well-established instructional farm,

hostel and transportation facilities, a well-established instructional farm, hostel and transportation facilities, and a 100 KVA solar energy plant, positioning the college as a prominent educational institute in the rural region. As an emerging institution, we place strong emphasis on continuous knowledge enhancement. Our faculty members have actively participated in national workshops and training programmes organized by ICAR, New Delhi; MCAER, Pune; and MPKV, Rahuri.

Equipped with a dedicated library and four well-furnished laboratories, the college provides students with comprehensive academic resources to pursue knowledge, foster innovation, and develop their creative potential.

Hostel Facilities

Sindhutai Vikhe Patil College of Agriculture, Mohu-chincholi offers separate hostels for boys and girls with a wide range of amenities having intake capacity for Boys 250 and for Girls 450. These include well-furnished rooms, mess facilities with good quality food, solar-heated hot water, Wi-Fi, and recreational options like TV halls and indoor games and Gymnasium.
