Earn & Learn Scheme
With the special guidance of Padmabhushan Hon’ble Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, the Pravara Rural Education Society, Loni, provides financial support for the Earn and Learn scheme to assist needy students of the college. The scheme was initiated in August 2009 to provide encouragement and support to hardworking, sincere, and economically disadvantaged students. To date, nearly 100 students have benefitted from this initiative. Under the scheme, students are paid on an hourly work basis
Priority is given to students belonging to below-poverty-line (BPL) families, landless households, or weaker sections of society. Each year, detailed information about the scheme is communicated to the students. In case of an overwhelming response, students are shortlisted based on a personal interview, family economic background, and academic performance. The selection process is generally conducted in the last week of July every year.
