About Us
College of Agriculture, Loni was launched in 2012 with 7 teachers and 57 students. In the short span till 2018-19, the institute has broadened to 15 teachers and 270 students. Earlier, the Agri-Biotechnology College was set up in 2003 and the College of Agriculture Business Management in 2011.
Based on a sprawling tract of land, the institute has made arrangements for irrigation facilities and field experiments. That apart, strict discipline is maintained on the eco-friendly campus and smoking is absolutely banned.
Taking cognizance of the financial status of most students, the college operates an Earn and Learn Scheme while also assisting students obtain loan from nationalized banks and awarding scholarships and prizes to meritorious students.
Lectures by eminent personalities are arranged to help students develop insights and the Teacher-Guardian scheme ensures proper guidance of students in the formative phase of their lives. The college also offers excellent gymkhana facilities for students’ fitness.
