Eligibility

• Aggregate marks: Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (12th Std. Science) with minimum 45% marks for General category (Open) and minimum 40% marks in aggregate for reserved categories [Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Vimukta Jati (A) (VJ-a) / Nomadic Tribes (B) (NT-b) / Nomadic Tribes (C) (NT-c) / Nomadic Tribes (D) (NT-d) / Other Backward Classes (OBC) / Social and Educational Backward Class (SEBC ) / Economically Weaker Section (EWS) / Special Backward Class (SBC), Person with Disability (PwD) / Orphan] and score in MHT-CET should be more than 0.
• Qualifying examination:
  • XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with PCB or PCMB or PCM or Inter (Agriculture) and passed with English.
  • Those who have not offered Biology or Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University.
  • Common Entrance Examination i.e. MHT-CET/JEE/NEET organized by Competent Authority during year 2025-26 in PCB or PCM subject.

Qualifying examination

• Passed three-year English medium Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic from State Agriculture Universities of Maharashtra.
• Passed three-year English Medium Diploma Agriculture Polytechnic with minimum 6.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for open category and, minimum 5.0 CGPA for reserved categories [SC, ST, VJ(a), NT(b), NT(c), NT(d), OBC, SBC, SEBC, EWS, Persons with Disability (PwD) and Orphan candidate].

Note: Candidates who have completed three-year Agriculture diploma from SAU's of Maharashtra state in Semi English Medium are not eligible for admission to direct second year.
