About Us
Pravara High School, Kolhar started operating in 1976 in a Shiva Temple with only 4 teachers and 25 students from LKG to 1st standard. The aim was to create noble citizens who perform brilliantly in all areas. As of 2018-19, we have 41 teachers educating 1047 students from LKG to 10th standard.
For 42 years now, the school has delivered quality education in English to economically weak students. Through activity-based learning for overall student development, we have obtained 100% SSC Board result over the last 13 years. More than that, we prepare students to successfully face the challenges of life.
Students from remote areas can travel to schools via our five school buses. Digital projectors and boards in classrooms enable easy understanding. Even Grade 1 students have practicals in the Computer Lab and we encourage pupils to take initiative in all practical sessions.
Interschool and interhouse sports competitions are hosted on the school’s spacious playground, which has dedicated facilities for Football and Basketball. The ground also hosts an Athletic Meet every year.
