Code Of Conduct For Student

  • Every student MUST carry the Student’s Hand book to the School on all days.
  • Every day the students must reach the School at least five minutes before scheduled assembly time.
  • Late comers are liable to pay a fine of Rs. 10/- per day.
  • Shouting or whistling, throwing bits of paper, chalk etc. at others or teasing fellow students in any manner is strictly forbidden.
  • Any damage done to School property should be brought to the notice of the Class Teacher, Housemaster and Principal. The offenders will pay the fine and replace the damaged items.
  • Books other than text books, reference books or library books and magazines, brought to the School without permission are liable to be confiscated.
  • Lending or borrowing money and other articles is not permitted.
  • Students are not expected to carry or keep cash with them. Ornaments, wrist watch, electronic equipment and costly items including mobiles are not permitted in the School campus.
  • Parents are not allowed to meet the teachers in the class room or in the staff room. In case there is a requirement to meet the teacher, it should be done in the office of HM/Principal.
  • Cycles must be locked and parked in the space provided for the purpose. Riding in the School compound is strictly prohibited. Students are not allowed to ride bikes or drive any Vehicles in the School.
  • Students who are escorted to the School should never leave the School premises without the escort. In case of delay, they should stay in the School and wait for the escort.
  • The students must be in neat and tidy school uniform and polished shoes. Fine shall be imposed on students who come to school in improper dress.
  • Students shall obey Prefects and class monitors.
  • Whenever parents come to the School, they must meet the Class teacher. If need be, they are welcome to meet the Principal.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the School during working hours unless an authorized person comes in person and requests in writing and obtains permission from Principal.
  • Vehicles are not allowed in the premises during School.
  • The School reserves the right to take disciplinary action against any student for improper conduct. A student whose conduct is not satisfactory is liable to be expelled from the School without assigning any specific reason. Parents meet may visit the School only on the Parents meet day. On open days, they are requested to meet the teacher in the class rooms and discuss their ward’s progress.
  • All parents are requested to co-operate with the School in maintaining proper educational environment.
  • Students should be punctual and regular in attending classes.
  • If any unfamiliar person tries to contact students, they should immediately report the matter to the Class Teacher & Principal authority.
  • While taking students home, if parents are not able to escort them, they should send authorization letter along with the accompanying person.
  • Leave will not be granted for more than two days, except in the case of emergency as illness, that too, with written permission of the Vice Principal/Principal.

House Allocation Policy

Ours is day scholar school. There are four houses in our school. Red, Green, Blue and Orange House. Each year a representative is selected from each house. He/She takes hold of his or her house.

New admitted student allowed to chose house according to number. School Captain, Vice Captain are elected from the houses.

Policy On Bullying

What is Bullying?

Bullying is unwanted negative behaviour, verbal, psychological or physical conducted by an individual or group against another person(or persons)n and which is repeated over time.

Policies on Bullying in our School:

  • Our School believes that all students have right to a safe and healthy school environment. Our School has an obligation to promote mutual respect, tolerance and acceptance.
  • Our School expects students or staff to immediately report incidents of bullying to the Principal. Staff who witness such acts take immediate steps to intervene when safe to do so.
  • Our School promptly investigate each complaint of Bullying. This policy applies to students on school ground, while travelling to an from school or a school sponsored activity, during the lunch period, whether on or campus.
  • To ensure bullying does not occur in our school, our School provides staff development training in bullying prevention and cultivate acceptance and understanding in all students and staff to build School’s capacity to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Safety Measures

  • Children have to know their parents contact number and address details.
  • The School Management is ensuring who is picking up the children.
  • The School Management verifying the details of the Bus Driver’s personal background details before joining.
  • During Parents Meeting, The teachers are giving counseling to the parents regarding safety and awareness.
  • If the Teachers find any student sick, they are informing to their parents to take care of them and teachers are also taking additional care of them.
  • Teachers are carefully watching the students when they are in Laboratory.
  • The School Management is not encouraged the students or their parents who send their children to school by motorcycles in small age without legal license.
  • Women Empowerment Committee is established in School for solving Girl Child problems.
  • Anti Ragging Committee is established in School for solving Students problem and provide protection to the Student.

Parents Worries/FAQS

Starting a new nursary or going to school for the first time can be hard. There is a new environment to adjust, to rules to be followed and a uniform to wear.

During any emergency our first priority is the safety of our students.

  • For encouraging girls our school established Women Empower Committee.
  • To stop ragging school organised Anti Ragging Committee.
  • For fire safety , Pravara Sugar Factory provides fire protection to the School.
  • School Security Department is trained to handle any emergency situation.

DO'S & DON'TS

DO'S

  • Come to School well groomed, in proper uniform with well polished shoes.
  • Be regular in attendance and never be late to School.
  • Attend Morning Assembly without fail.
  • Bring the student dairy to school daily.
  • Look after the property of your school; help keep it clean and tidy.
  • Keep your classroom clean and tidy and avoid littering.
  • Turn off the tap after use.
  • Switch off fans and lights when not in use.
  • Be fair and honest at work; always be considerate of the rights of the others.

DON'TS

  • Do not lend or borrow money or any other precious article.
  • Do not involve yourself in feuds.
  • Do not bunk classes.
  • Do not use abusive language.
  • Do not bring gadgets, such as mobile phones, iPods, Mp3s etc. They are strictly prohibited in School campus.
  • Do not bring jewellery to School. School will not be held responsible for lost of jewellery.
  • Do not absent yourself from School.
  • Do not make loud noise in classroom.

  • Financial Exploitation/Extortion
  • Use of Force

Each of the above is criminal offences.

A Student indulging in ragging can be:

  • Expelled from the institution
  • Denied Scholarship
  • Debarred from Examinations
  • Denied admission to any institution
  • Prosecuted for criminal action
  • Prosecuted by police on the basis of FIR filed by institution.

Ragging is the Criminal Offence as per the Supreme Court.
