Civil Engineering Department

About

The Civil Engineering programme was established in 1981 with 60 intakes and the aim to develop the professional and responsible citizenship.

The development along with professionalism emphasizes on achieving excellence in Technical Education. The Programme has received grants of Rs.16.77 lakh under MODROB in 2021-22 for Material Testing Lab. The programme has conducted Faculty development programme in 2015-16 as well as 2017-18. The department attracts the finest, young and dynamic faculty members. Students are exposed to well-defined academic programs along with a host of sports, cultural and organizational activities in a vibrant and beautiful campus of P.Dr.V.Vikhe Patil Institute of Technology & Engineering ( Polytechnic) Loni. The External Academic Monitoring committee of MSBTE has given Excellent remark to our department.

Today's civil Engineer has to work on various civil Engineering Projects like Multistoried buildings, Industrial buildings, Roads, Water Supply, Sanitary Schemes & also on Various Irrigation Structures like Dams, Bridges etc. Infrastructural facility like Roads which plays a major role in the development of the country.

Our Vision

To develop the rural students as skilled civil engineers to build our nation.

Our Mission

M1: To Develop Technical skills through Trainings.
M2: To Provide Civil Engineering skills to Students through Teaching and Learning Process.
M3: To Enhance Career Opportunities for Students through Higher Education, Industry and Entrepreneurship
