Mechanical Engineering Department

About

Mechanical Engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines offering opportunities to specialize in areas such as robotics, aerospace, automotive engineering, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), biomechanics, and more. Mechanical engineers design, develop, build, and test. They deal with anything that moves, from components to machines to the human body. The work of mechanical engineers plays a crucial role in shaping the technology and infrastructure that drive our modern world.

Our Mechanical Engineering Department is established year in year 1994. The department has fully equipped laboratories, well qualified and experienced staff. The department regularly arranges seminars, workshops from industry experts for student as well as for staff and also organizes industrial visits, various competitions, different events, Sports and organizing cultural programs for students. The department also offers various courses to cope up with the latest trends in technology.

There are seven laboratories in the department, Power Engineering Lab, Computer Aided Drafting Lab, Engineering Metrology, Thermal Lab, Theory of Machine Lab, Engineering, Material Lab, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery Lab , Power Lab all labs are fully equipped and we have trendy equipment’s like 3D Printing Machine, Peel Testing Machine made available for our students.

On successful completion of this program:

  1. Student can work in National & multinational companies.
  2. In Government sector like MSRTC & RTO.
  3. In various insurance companies as Vehicle surveyor cum loss accessor.
  4. Can be entrepreneur in vehicle Dealership/ Service station or Mechanical consultancy.
  5. Students May take higher education.

Our Vision

To prepare Mechanical Engineering students for career development and higher studies

Our Mission

M1: To encourage students to develop psychomotor skills through training.
M2: To ensure continuous improvement in the teaching and learning process to meet the current trends in the industry.
M3: To develop the technical skills of students, thereby increasing their placement potential.
