It gives me an immense pleasure to express my views towards the development of Computer Technology Department. Besides a very strong and disciplined Academics, Department has started different Forums and Hobby Clubs for the overall development of students. Department has established Industry linkages and MOUs and also set up a linkage with Start-up PRISM Forum (NGO) started at Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni, for enhancing the Employability Skills of students. Mentorship activities and regular Alumni interaction with students helps in developing social, technical and parental connect.
Our Computer Technology department is established year in year 1984. The department has fully equipped laboratories and well qualified, experienced staff.
The department regularly arranges seminar, workshop from industry experts & our Department Alumni for student as well as for staff and also organizes industry visits for students. The department also offers various add on trainings to cope up with the latest trends in technology. The track record of result is also excellent; many times College topper is from Computer Department.
Students are having talents and creativity which are being explored by extra co-curricular activities like Group Discussion, debate, Programming contests, project competition etc. organized under different Club activities. Every year our students got lots of achievements in both academics and extra-curricular activities. Throughout the year on behalf of professional bodies and department association, many activities are conducted. Many students participated in these activities and the activities outside the college and bagged number of prizes.
Lastly, I congratulate the creative and sincere efforts taken by my faculty members and students for the achievement of Computer Department and I wish all of them a very happy and lifelong learning with great success in their bright future!!
