About
Electronics and Telecommunication department at the Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (SVIT) started its Under Graduate (UG) course in 2002 and a Post Graduate (PG) course in 2012. Electronics and Telecommunication technology has revolutionized the lifestyle of humans and we make it a point to stay on top of the transformative role of the field.
Taking cognizance of the synergic nature of the branch – a combination of electrical, computer, and telecommunication engineering – our staff utilize the department’s immense infrastructure to create great opportunities for students. Software based subjects are made a part of the syllabus to widen the scope of the branch.
Moreover, the department operates the ASSET club for overall personality development of students by facilitating their entry to the right platforms. Two of our staff members have published books and many faculty members have published papers.
